I have the Sony DSC-W30 and recently, some sort of object, was dropped on the screen. The camera still works perfectly, but the screen only shows a white light, with a crack underneath. Any advice?

Hi! If you're sure you didn't damage the lens flat cable which connect to the motherboard, the focus of the lens unit you bought on ebay doesn't work. You can simply replace the back part (with focus) of the new lens unit with your old one. It requires soldering.
I found this solution in Yahoo Answers. go into the Setup Menu and find "Initialize". Select Initialize to reset the camera adjustments. Then try using the camera again.
