Just plug the Guitar Hero drums wireless adapter into the usb port. Then press the power button on the drums to switch them on ,then hold down the button on the adapter and press the power button on the drums again .They should connect ,if not it may be the version of your playstation doesnt work with the Guitar Hero World Tour disk.
the drumset for world tour is a pain in the ****. you have to hit them pretty hard for it to be recognized.. and my red pad, no matter how hard i pound that thing, will not work. i just got a rcokband drumset instead and sold my guitar hero drumset. i hope i helped! :)
i had the same problem but with trial and error i came up with a soulution
1. Turn on the Playstation 3 2. Plug the dongle for the drum set into an open port on the PS3, the light will begin to flash slowly. 3. Hold down the button (where the light is flashing) on the dongle until it begin flashing very rapidly. Release the button and the light continues to flash rapidly. 4. Hold down the PS button on the drum set until the red light starts flashing rapidly. 5. Within a few seconds you will get a solid light on both the Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Set and the Playstation 3.
The instruments for Rock Band and GH:WT are compatible on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, not the Wii. Blame Activision, the creators of GH:WT - they went a different route with hardware for the Wii that made things incompatible.
Rock Band and Guitar Hero instruments are NOT compatible on the Wii. They are compatible on the 360, the PS3, and the RB drums for PS2. Activision went their own way with the Wii and made life difficult for all of the aspiring musicians on the Wii. Sorry.
i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the
the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the
reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before
putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar).
so far so good, seems to have worked.
ok, first disconnect all controllers, memory card and usb controllers, just plug the drum in the usb slot. Start up your guitar hero world tour game. The light should be solid on your usb connector. Press the button on the usb connector when it is solid. It will blink rapidly. Press the center button (PS Logo) on the drum kit once, wait about 2 or 3 seconds and press once more. Let the lights blink and when it is done, all the lights on the drum kit should be off except for the far left light. Then it is ready to go. I figured this out myself while I was on hold with tech support. good luck! I wish this post was here when I was trying to connect my drumkit! I spent over 2 hours trying to sinc it.....
