I understand you need to replace your AC adapter for your Toshiba laptop computer model A4-151.
An after market charger is usually OK, if you very throughly check the charger for the connector into your laptop and the voltage and current rating. If you have the bad unit, verify these factors with the supplier I have provided below for you to copy and paste into your web browser.
If any doubt, try other supplier sites as this is the number one problem of trying to get the right AC adapter. The other option is to buy from Toshiba direct, but will pay 3-4 times more.
purchase/find a micro-usb cable and connect to your pc- or if you have an ipod/iphone/ipod touch charger, remove the cable, and plug the micro-usb cable to that charger.

Are you using either the original charger or a charger made by Apple? People often buy other charges that say they're iPhone compatible, but they don't work. If you are using an Apple iPhone charger (i.e. not just a iPod charger, but a charger made for iPhone) and it is not working, make an appointment (free) at the nearest Apple genius bar and they'll diagnose your problem.
