I had my Sony NW-E015F MPS player conncted to the USB port on the back on my laptop to charge. I almost dropped my laptop but when I put it down it bent the USB port on the MP3 player. If I fiddle with it enough I can get it to turn on while connected but my laptop is not reading that its there. Therefore I can't charge it or transfer any files. I opened up the MP3 player end and removed the end cover but I can't tell if anything is broken...I think its loose farther down inside...any suggestions?
SOURCE: Broken USB ports
can i know in which the ports are broken,,,in your player end or on the mother board...
if its on the player you can..you need to change the player
if its on the mother board avail warranty and get the board replaced or
you can buy the usb attachment alone from the shop that fits into the slot on the mother board ....
or for temporary use you can use your friends system
