Phone not connectinng with my laptop through cable

I have DKU-2 cable from nokia co. to connect my nokia 6681 with my Laptop.I have installed new version of nokia pc suite from net as it was not connecting on old version.; Still it is not connecting although it connects very well with the same through bluetuth device

Either reinstall the drivers for your cable or google search for them. Occasionally your cable will be defective and you'll need to get a new one.

try downloading NOkia Connectivity Driver from Nokia's Website... Download and install it...Restart your computer and then connect your cellphone to the computer via Data Cable...

When i connect my nokia 6681 with laptop via bluetooh ,at the time of installation of drivers ,one driver doesn't install i,e "blue tooth peripheral device " is missing... hw can i over come this problem?

make sure you have the latest 6681 nokia pc suite installed on your computer and do the connection again.

this is because you did not install nokia connectivity software on your laptop. After install the PC site, you also need to connectivity software.

First initially check wither u have installed the Nokia PC suite which supports your phone,or u can download the latest version of PC suite from the below link provided.

If you are going use PC Suite with the Nokia Connectivity Cable DKU-2, download and install the cable driver first: Nokia Connectivity Cable DKU-2 driver.which can be downloaded from the same link provided

Fist you should have Nokia PC Suit installed in your PC. Connect N70 using DKU-2 data cable. There is no need to install any drivers for data cable or phone PC suit has it all..

u will need a computer with nokia pc suite installed on it ,a dku cable n ur mobile ofcourse wid memory card inserted in it.
open my computer,
click on nokia phone browser icon i.e.,one of the removable drive.
a window will open displaying ur nokia phone model i.e.,nokia 6681,dbl click on it.
next window will display ur phone memory and memory card.
right click on memory card,select copy from drop down menu.
copy it to ur other computer drive (c,d,etc)
disconnect the phone
insert new memory card
copy the mmc data from drive n paste it in new mmc.

Nokia3230 USB modem connection to pc for use airtel live

For using Nokia 3230 as USB modem you need Nokia PC Suite and DKU-2 cable.

Download Nokia PC Suite from here:

1. Install Nokia PC Suite
2. Run PC Suite
3. Connect the phone to PC with DKU-2 cable
4. Wait for a while, you will see drivers are installing.
5. After driver installation your phone is connected to PC Suite.
6. Now click "connect to the internet button", a new window will open
7. Go to settings, next and go to "select your network operator from the list" and select your exact operator there
8. And click finish

Now your is connected to internet.

If you don't have the cable you can also connect the phone to PC via IrDa or Bluetooth if your phone has those connecting devices.

Nokia itself approves DKU-2 as th e needed cable for nokia n70 . i think the pc suite you r suing is too ols as it cant detect n 70 . plese doenlaod latest pc suite from nokia website

Cable connectivity of nokia 6681 with PC

may b port of the handset is damaged....try via another cable on ur handset....try using headfones...it will give u prompt if anything goes wrong.
