Message on SanDisk e260 MP player

I have a SanDisk MP3 player. I purchased songs from Wal-Mart and down loaded them onto my MP3 player. Now when I try tp play those songs it says I need to synch to continue my music subscription. I synched it and it still does not play these songs. Is this a licence issue with Wal-Mart? Why can't my MP3 player play these songs? Thanks

Songs will not transfer to E260

Make sure the songs that you put on are in a format compatible with your player.

If they are not compatible they will not show on the screen or play....

Transfer only songs that are in Mp3 format using Windows Media Player. The converter program is only for photos and video.

Loading audio books onto sansa fuse clip 2gb mp3 player

You need to tag the .mp3 so it has a genre of "Audiobook". Google "mp3 tagger" and you'll find utils to do this for you.

Unable to play new songs added to MP3 player

Wal mart downloads are notorious for not working with subscription devices (i.e. - devices that use rhapsody, or yahoo.).

You have 2 options;

 1) dont use any music from wal-mart

 2) burn the music to a cd, the re-rip them to your PC, thusly removing any copy protection and then re-transfer them to your device.

Best of Luck.

Song problem

The wal-mart music songs do not work on devices that require "subscription" licenses. One option is to burn the music to a cd, then copy it back to your computer to remove the licenses, to allow them to work. But I think that may be illegal. ;0)

My sandisk e260 wont play songs i down loaded

Well, I may have a solution. Some music websites or "free" mp3 websites put a type of license or protection thing on the files that you download so that when you try to listen to them, you can only use certin software/music players and also make it so you cannot use any of the files on your mp3 player/iPod. I tried a place called emusic.com and they say you get 20, or so, free downloads BUT you can only use their music player for them. And the funny thing is, they have avertisements in about half of the packages of new mp3 players in the market. Try looking at their policy or license on the website to see if you can put the songs on your mp3 player. Good luck, and have a nice day.
