It may depend on the remote. These are the codes for the 5.0 IR remote: Sanyo 590, 683, 589, 542, 652 . http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/techportal/content/tech/remotehome.shtml lists all of the Dish remotes. Click on your model and then the link for the remote codes is on the left hand side of the page.

However, if your remote is older than your TV or was programmed within 6 months of the TV coming on the market, the code you need may not be included. In that case, you need a newer remote. (There is a time lag for the codes being provided to the universal remote vendors.)

its hard to find a remote that will work an olevia , since this brand is new and alot of manf. that make universal remotes have not updated there system..

This company called Amergence Technology sells the Olevia Remote and will control any olevia television.
