Question about Canon imageCLASS MF8170C All-In-One Laser Printer
What do you do to fix this error code... 2 Days and the knowledge base on the canon site is not working.

Fusers dont go bad they are basicaly a consumably and will go after time. im based in the uk but have found precisionroller to be a good us company link for a fuser assy: http://www.precisionroller.com/catalog_display.php?mfname=canon_imageclass_mf8170c_fuser_assemblies___units&m=114&d=6095&c=17 hope this helps Cops

Go to this link: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=239&modelid=10561 In the "please enter your question" (gray bar area) type in E000. It will give you three options for resetting the machine. If these don't solve it, you'll need to replace the fuser (fixing) assembly.

Thank you for prompt respond and service website. It is very informative. However, I need to contact Cannon directly to order new fuser since their troubleshooting still doesn't solve my problem. But what cause fuser to go bad?
