First of all, open up your cellphone, unplug the SIM card and re-plug it again.
Now go to your SMS Inbox and delete everything (if possible, if not delete the un-needed ones) and then go to drafts and deleted the ones not needed.
Now try to send, if it still shuts down, probably the memory is damaged, take it to the store you bought it from and tell them about the problem.
Good luck sir.

just do two things and it will surely solve your prblm,,,,, 1.) dial *#*#4636#*#* and scroll down and press update button. 2.)you need to have at least 20mb phone memory free.
Open dialler, key in *#*#4636#*#*. Select
Phone Information, scroll down to SMSC and key in the SMS centre
number (you need to get it from your service provider). Select Update
which will change the number. Try sending sms again, let me know whether it works.
My phone is doing that, too!! It just started doing that the other day. It seemed to help for a little while if I restarted the phone, but now it won't send any sms messages at all, but instead sends them as mms.
If you see my response's to other probs. people are having you will notice they are similar. A lot of what appear to be network issues can be down to 3G probs range from delays sending receiving sms/mms, accessing internet, calls going to voice mail, no signal......
Try changing network mode to GSM 1st, for some reason this can be an issue with the fone trying to use 3G.
