I have problems like (^10)(^5)= but I don't know how to enter them into the calculator to get the right answer please help me.

here are the steps in changing it from radian to degrees
1. turn on your TI-83 plus
2. press the MODE button near the top of your calculator
3.go down to options and move the highlight from radian to degree, press enter and clear
you're good to go

To use the exponential function, you must enter the number then press [2nd][e to the x] or [e^x] for short.
e^(-0.1) is entered as (-)0.1 [2nd][e^x], where (-) is the change sign key
You will need to use extra parentheses to avoid errors.
20 - 18*( (-)0.1 [2nd][e^x] ) [=]
The Minus sign between 20 and 18 is the regular one. The (-) before the 0.1 is the change sign key (-) or sometimes labeled +/-. The asterisk is the multiplication sign.
