Hopefully someone can help me with this problem. I've had this phone for about 7 months, and today it suddenly started acting screwy! What's happening is that the phone keeps toggling the "ringer volume up" feature, as if the button were being pressed repeatedly without stopping. It's prohibiting me from being able to place calls, or do anything for that matter. What should I do about this.
My son's phone is about 7 months old too and today when i turned it on it would not go past verizon welcome screen, no matter what. i don't use this phone, but if your volume controller is on the keyboard it could be that the keypad is going bad, which appears to be common with the razr. if it is the keypad, you can pick up a keypad flex cable for about $12 on ebay, and it's a very easy fix, but if it's just 7 months old, i'd return it under warranty, that's what i'm going to do. Let me know what you find out. I just think it's really strange that our phone suffered no damage of any kind, it just quit.
