Hi,
Went to charge my V3. Plugged the adaptor into the phone. The screen indicated that it was charging for about 3 seconds and then the phone went dead.
Now, phone is completely dead and the keypad is flashing.
Unable to turn on the phone, unable to charge it.
No water damage and was not dropped.
Tried removing the battery and the SIM card...nothing :(
Any suggestions?!
THANKS!

I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...

Try to connect the AC adaptor of your laptop and plug it to the wall outlet and let it charge for 3 hours or more. When you plug it on the wall socket, it won't show the laptop's led blinking since it was totally drained. But after 3 minutes or more, it will start to show the blinking led to indicate charging. When blinking stops led light disappears, it is fully charged and ready to use.
Remember: Do not use your laptop while it is plugged in to save your battery life. When at home, remove the battery while it is fully charged and plug the AC adaptor directly to the wall outlet. It will still work without the battery as long as it is plugged directly to the wall socket.
Remove the battery for a couple of minutes while the unit is not plugged into the a/c adaptor. Reinstall the battery, plug the unit into the a/c adaptor, and see if it will boot up.
have you tried measuring the output voltage on the charger?? if not... use a multimeter to check if there is a voltage coming out on the charger.. if there is... you doomed.... the charging module (charging IC) on your phone is fckd..
