Psp 2000 IS made in china, no updates in the philippines

I have a psp 2000 IS, it says in the box that it's for sale in japan only, it was bought in dubai and made in china. can't find anyone to do the updates for this item..what to do?

this is a problem, only japanese games will work in a japanese console. Or, you can get custom firmware for psp(google it) and you can play games from any region, be it europe, japan north america etc.

PSP Game

Yeah you can update your psp, just make sure it has at least 70% charge, 100 would be be better, plug it in and make sure you don't switch it off during its update. if you do, it will be bricked. as long as you do it properly, it will be fine.

Update to Version 3.80, but be sure to plug in the AC adapter to the PSP first and keep it plugged in.
