Psp 2000 IS made in china, no updates in the philippines
I have a psp 2000 IS, it says in the box that it's for sale in japan only, it was bought in dubai and made in china. can't find anyone to do the updates for this item..what to do?

you cant do that.. im sorry to say but its Programmed just for Japanese programs ... The only way to watch ur Philippines channels is to get a Digital satellite reciver and a satellite dish , and good luck.

this is a problem, only japanese games will work in a japanese console. Or, you can get custom firmware for psp(google it) and you can play games from any region, be it europe, japan north america etc.
Yeah you can update your psp, just make sure it has at least 70% charge, 100 would be be better, plug it in and make sure you don't switch it off during its update. if you do, it will be bricked. as long as you do it properly, it will be fine.
