Question about Samsung HC-P4752W 47" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I've owned this TV since July 2005, and a few months ago, the TV would go black, and you couldn't change the channel or source, etc. nothing. Just a couple of weeks back, when I turned the TV, it looked blurred (something similar to the problem somebody else described above), or 'ghosting', with yellow onto the left and blue (the most prominent color) to the right. Yes, I also tried autofocus, and it didn't work (the autofocus works halfway and then finishes). There is also a line that runs from the bottom and splits into two above the middle. Would it be too costly to fix? It is a good TV, and I never had any problems, but with $700 LCD TVs on sale, is it really worth fixing it?
Im sorry for this not being a solution, but I have the exact same issue Jose. It just happened 3 days ago. When I run auto focus it says check factory default settings. Will replacing the 2 CI's help cure this problem.
