Batteries replacement i just can´t figured out where can i install the batteries in my ge wireless optical mouse 97985

The piece of plastic where your palm would rest on the mouse is the compartment for the batteries. Locate the piece of plastic with the GE logo on it. You need to slide that piece of plastic away from the direction of the mouse buttons. You will then be able to put the batteries inside and slip the piece of plastic back on.

Instructions
    • 1Hold the mouse in your hand, press down on the battery compartment cover (the back of the mouse) then slide it off.
    • 2 Insert two AAA batteries into the mouse. Make sure the positive and negative terminals match up with the diagrams inside the battery compartment.

    • Replace the battery compartment cover.
    • 4 Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on the computer. The computer will acknowledge that a new device has been installed and you will be prompted to install the software.
    • 5 Insert the software installation disc into the optical drive. Follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard to install the software.

GE wireless optical mini mouse - how do you change the batteries?

I don't own this mouse in particular, but of the two wireless mice I do own, the batteries are replaced by taking the door off the bottom of the mouse and getting at the batteries that way.

Only one thing for Hardware of Mouse if wireless cheak if Reviver is Faulty and connects with Wireless Mouse and if still no respond try another reciver to see if the other wireless Mouse correctly works.If it Mouse that gone and have Garentee take back to store if your warenty is in Refunded Policy or you apply for Garentee on your Product.

Batteries for GE wireless optical mouse

Normal 0 The GE mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, Try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

GE Wireless Mini Mouse 97985

Press the link button on the receiver the indicator light should start blinking. Then within two seconds press the link button on the bottom of the mouse, the indicator light should quit blinking. After re-linking the devices move the mouse to see if it moves the cursor. If the cursor does not move, then move the mouse and see if the indicator light on the receiver blinks. If the device does not blink then try re-linking the devices again.

#97985 optical mouse

You will have to go to the manufacturers website and download the driver and software for your mouse. Save the file then open it and install the driver. When you plug in your mouse again it should be recognized.

If it's a wireless mouse the batteries may need replacing or there may be a driver problem, try uninstalling the mouse then reinstalling it or try reinstalling the driver again,
