I got my ZEN sleek photo for my birthday this past january. it froze once or twice. but worked the next day. then it froze again and didnt work for about 3 days. it hadnt froze for about 3 months until now. it froze when i pluged it into the computer to add more music. when i plugged it in, it was ok. but when i was about to put the music on it, i noticed it didnt go to that screne it goes to when its going to syncronize. so i unplugged it. it's been frozen for abotu a week now. and i just want to throw it out the window now.
You have to hit the reset button. You stick the end of a small paperclip or even the wire part from those garbage bag twist-ties into the reset button which is the hole on the bottom of the player. As you push the paperclip into hole you must hold down the PLAY button. This should put it into the Recovery screen or else it will just say "Rebuilding Library". If it goes into the Recovery screen you select CLEANUP and then YES. After it goes through cleanup which can take forever then it will will usually reboot on its own or if it goes back to recovery screen hit REBOOT after you have done CLEANUP.
