In standby mode (red led on/after the led stops from blinking), press "Display", "5", Volume (-)", "Power on" on the remote control in sequence, self diagnostic screen will be display, let me know the what is on the screen to diagnose where the fault came from.

Most likely a capacitor in the power supply went out. otherwise it may be a bad relay if there happens to be one. Most reason for a tv not turning on at all is bad power supply

Well, it may be your power cord, check the cord for bare wiring which is the metal hanging out of the insulation rubber. If it is then go buy another cord.
