Nope, not dust on the lens, but you have two IC's in the convergence correction circuit that have to be replaced. you shouls get the service manual for this set, as well as go to www.servicemanuals.net to find the download but also go to www.mcmelectronics to get the STK convergence IC's. If you have no solid state printed circuit board repair experience, I highly advise you to call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

How to pick the right poundage for my recurve bow?

In a recurve bow, the longer your arms the further you pull the bow back and the higher the pulling weight of the bow becomes as you pull it further and further. A starting bow weight is around 25-31 lbs.

TV-Bowing

can you post a pic of your screen so i can properly diagnose the problem as it could be either a pincushion or convergence problem. A picture would clarify it for me.

Bow like image

You likely have bad convergence output ic's type #STK392-570.  These can be purchased at UED 800-648-6657.  You will need to remove the board they are mounted on to be able to usolder the old ones and resolder the new ones.  These will be mounted on heat sinks.

Sudden discoloration, ghosting, bowed horizontal lines in top and bottom of picture

The convergence ICs probably have a cracked solder joint on the foil side of the circuit board. Re-flowing the the solder would help. I will always replace the convergence ICs when doing this job. The labor remains the same and you will have to pay a few extra bucks for the parts. To fix this yourself, you will need to be able to identify the two convergence ICs, have a basic knowledge of electronics and be able to use a soldering iron. You will also have to do an alignment through the service menu.
