The Open/Control button of the CD player and inside connection to the button is broken, and consequently I cannot use the machine.
(The remote does not have an open/control button on it - could I purchase a remote that would do the trick?.)
I love the player and would like to have it repaired.
I do not have the skills to do it myself.
Is it repairable? By whom? Would it be very time consuming and expensive?
I live in Melbourne, Australia
Thank you
Faye

The motor is last thing to gone before you go to service check the rubber belt which connect the motor to the door gears.Your set is 20 years old and this should be the problem and easy to fix
