Minolta Model cf3102
Display misfeed detected . But unable to find paper misfeed
Starting on PDF Page 189 of THIS DOCUMENT, you will find a step-by-step clearing/misfeed instructional.
You will have to go through every tray and also check the elctrical contacts (noted on page 190)
If you have touched one accidentally - this may have caused a static electricity charge and damaged a sensor.
In this Minolta printer there are many, MANY places for a paperjam to occur - and it will take persistence to find. Sometimes it will not be a full sheet, but a tiny bit of paper on a sensor.
Compressed air shots in each door will help move things around to clear sensors and bits of paper sticking around.
(dont forget to check the lid feeder as well)
Once you have gone through each of the steps in the document above under "Document Misfeed" and have blown air into each tray - and still get the error, there is a faulty or misaligned sensor that will require a Minolta Service call to repair.
Thanks for using FixYa - If you need further clarification or step by step help, please clarify with me.
You can try to Get some canned air and blow the feed area and sensors clean.
To clear a paper misfeed in the bypass tray
1 Remove all paper from the bypass tray.
2 If misfed paper cannot be pulled out,
pull the lever for the sliding plate of
the bypass tray, and then pull the
sliding plate toward you.
3 Pull the sliding plate toward you, and
then carefully pull out any misfed paper.
4 Pull the lever, and then open the
right-side door of Tray 1.
4 Pull the lever, and then open the
right-side door of Tray 1.
5 Carefully pull out any misfed paper.
6 Close the right-side door.

the solution is mentioned from page number 318 of the link.
thanks.
This may be a bad sensor that has failed for some reason or another. Also, there could be a jam due to gear failure as well. i would disassemble and check for a gear jam just in case.
Hi
chances are the paper feed roller is either slipping or in some cases
not turning at all. If you can't clear the jam by turning off the
machine, and back on, then you have a bad jam detect sensor ...a small piece of paper lodged on the jam sensor....need to open printer to inspect sensor.....
There is most likely a small piece of paper on a sensor/
remove paper tray and look inside, is there paper behind the tray? look at the tires are they bald and sniny? replace. Look at the tires and see if there is any scrap of paper there.
open right door and look down towards the paper tray, do you see any pieces of paper? there is a small black lever there, it's the sensor is it stuck?
look into the fuser (where it gets hot) ,you may have to remove it the paper sometimes gets crumbled like an accordion there, htere is also a small black lever there see any paper is it stuck?
Take it you have a misfeed condition that will not clear? Your
condition is in the ADF Length sensors. If you look at the ADF input
tray, you will see two optical sensors to the right side of the tray.
Check these... they are probably dirty or disconnected.
Lets try resetting the copier.
First, with the copier powered on open the front
door
Have you opened the unit up to see if there mught be a piece of paper caught between rollers?
Reply back what you see, and I'll look for the manual.

Open all doors and close them back.
Remove the toner units, inspect underneath and put toner back in place.
also unplug the machine from power for ten minutes.
