No picture read the manual and by the red/green blinking light it suggested replacement of the lamp {did not work). read troubleshooting on a web site of people having the same problem, it suggested changing of the lamp ballast (did not work). I'll take another suggestion before throwing the poc away. Please help. thanks.

Send me a copy of the service manual, and I will tell you what you need to check on this set before you throw it away. Send it to, [email protected] and remind me what set this is for, what website the set is located in.

Man if you had the service manual, maybe you would have this fixed by now? I mean it is only a few bucks! A service call is going to cost you at least 75 to 100.?

Red/green lights both blink and tv will on turn on

Are the red and green lights blinking at the same rate or not? If the green light is blinking every 3 seconds and the red light is blinking every 1/2 second, the lamp door is not properly secured. If both lights are blinking at 1 second intervals, try replacing the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't solve the problem, the TV needs service.

I hope this helps.

I own a Samsung HL-R5067W 50'' DLP. Set is about 3 years old. Recently I heard a loud pop while viewing, picture distorted, but never went blank. I turned set off. When turned on again a loud whining noise...

Check your color wheel. There is a DIY guide for replacing the color wheel. Mine did the same thing yours is and my color wheel was all busted up. Unfortunately after replacing the color wheel my set continues to do the same thing, but this could mean I need to replace the ballast as well.

KF-50WE620 Green light blinks (no image) lamp light blinks red

Your owner's manual for the television will contain a troubleshooting section that will describe the blinking codes for the various lights, and what they mean.
However, in your case, it probably means the light is burned out.
The bulb on my TV tends to burn out about every 16 months (I watch TV for many hours per day, so your experience may be different). If your TV is still under warranty, I would suggest you contact the store where it was purchased, or contact the manufacturer.
