I just fixed my co workers device. Plug in the device into the PC after it plugged into the pc, the pc will detect the device after the device is detected. In My Computer, double click on the coby device, it will bring you to the the storage device, its also named coby something. right click on it and format. You'll lose all your data but the file system error message will be fixed. Reload music and you're back and running.
I had the same problem, all you have to do is first turn on the Mp3.Then go to settings. Then go down to USB mode. It will probably say, auto detect.But instead scroll down to MSC. If that doesn't work try MTP.
my muvo doest work at all. i tried formatting it but it says "error" and the pc doest not recognize it only by chance. help! it doesnt turn on either. why do creative products do have much problems as u can see with the comments of buyers???
The Curtis site says that a Firmware update is required for this product. The firware update fixes a welcome screen as well as the computer not seeing the device issue - see download site in reply pasted below...
Q: When turned on, The WELCOME screen goes on but the unit shuts down after that even with new battery. This may be caused due to damaged firmware but can be recovered by firmware upgrade. Error message 0000020 - System Error displayed whenevr devide powered up. Only way to shut down is by turning battery off.
