There is likely to be a problem with the 'door closed' sensor/microswitch requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

Hi,
To get out of it you need to press start, the display should go daft. Press start again and the display should settle down. Now press the on/off button and the start button at the same time and hold them down for a few seconds until the display shows d-end or d-off.
Your machine should now work.

Unplug your appliance before working on it

Have had this problem on our Hotpoint WT741 washing machine. Fixed it this evening as far as I can tell. Seems it was a loose connection. Took the top off the machine and checked the ribbon connection to the display board at the top front. First, I removed the board (is held in by plastic clips - remove the programme selector knob first) and inspected to see it was okay then refitted it, making sure that the ribbon cable was pushed firmly onto the board. I then removed the rear access panel around the drain hose and checked the connections onto board at the bottom rear of the machine. I gave each connection a good push to check they were properly seated. Having done this, I have been unable to reproduce the fault with repeated switching off/on of the machine. It now appears to be working fine. I suspect the fault arises as a consequence of vibrations from the machine during operation causing one or more connectors to work loose - probably the ribbon cable on the front panel. So the problem should be rectified by checking these are properly seated. If you know what you are doing it's a simple job. Make sure you unplug the machine before accessing the machine and turn off the water supply. Don't attempt this if you aren't sure what you are doing and aren't confident with electronics.

F05 mean blocked pump. Water level not reached empty.

Error code F12 is indicating a communications error between cards, this can be caused by one of several things..
A problem with bad connections, if you can remove and then replace the plug on connectors, check for loose or chafed wires to motor, they can chafe due to tightness of wires, particularly down to the motor.
It is a electrical problem as opposed to a mechanical one.
If you cannot eliminate the problem your self, then i'm afraid your only other option would be to call an engineer out, it can be a difficult problem to pinpoint correctly.

washing machine WT741 ultima all light are flashing and it won't do anything else
