How are you connected? , if were less, try with a cable and first of all use high quality audio, no bad recorded stuff and full batteries . it should be doing it . if none of the connection modes offers a higher volume, then it's the unit.
Check that the speakers are the same impedance as the amplifier is rated for and that the speaker wires or connections are not shorted. It sounds like you are trying to drive 4 ohm speakers with an amp that is rated for 8 ohms - it will work at low volumes, but will overheat and shut off if you try to drive it too hard (higher volumes)
1.) go to settings, 2.) choose sounds & alerts, 3.) choose ring volume, 4.) then, press arrow up on your cellular keypad to have a high or loud volume; or, press arrow down to have a low/ soft volume on cellular phone. 5.) then click SAVE --- > ok.
Your factory speakers are usually 8 Ohms, and your aftermarket speakers are usually 4 Ohms. Factory speakers can only take so many watts of power. An aftermarket radio usually gives about 22 watts at a max where the factory is only about 5 to 10.
