Question about Sharp LC52SB55U LCD TV

Blinking green power light

I bought a Sharp LC-52SB55u LCD Tv and after about an hour or so the TV turned off and then there is a green blinking power light and I can't seem to turn it back on. I've tried unplugging the cord from the TV and wall. It still doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

    I had this on my Sharp 32". I unplugged and unconnected things like you and still could not get it to power on. I ended up realizing that I had plugged in my cell phone in the other outlet on the plug. I don't think I was getting enough power. It worked fine when I disconnected my cell phone.

    Same problem here. After being on for a little while (it can vary from 15min to 3hrs or more) it will randomly shut off and then have 2 green blinking lights.

    TV was on, suddenly turned off completely, did not respond to remote and wont turn on when pressing power button on side. Unplugged it, waited about 10 seconds, plugged back in....power light comes on (green) for about 3 seconds, there is a click (like power supply?) and then power and OPC lights blink twice, then OPC light blinks 3 times, and power+OPC two light blink and cycle repeats, unit will NOT turn on either from side switch or from remote. HELP!!!

All,

I had the same issue after one month of use. A repair cie came and fixed the problem. It appenned to a neon connector that wasn't properly plugged in the TV.
The Technician explained to me that m TV had 16 neons and a sort of controler for those. Often - from factory - a cable is not sitting properly in its position...

Since I have no problem.

Sharp tv remote control problem
Keep your mobile camera on press any key from remote you will get flash light in mobile.It means remote is ok.
Press On/Off switch from LED Tv and checked tv is on or off.
If Green light is blinking but tv not getting on follow as per attached file.

Call sharp back again and tell them you first want to register for aquos advantage program, which is free. By doing that your service will go much quicker with them. You then tell them that you want to get set up for service. They will have one of their authorized professionals come and fix your tv in a matter of days. If their tech cannot fix it, they will replace your tv free of charge as long as you are within your warranty.
