My Genius Gpen 4500 has shown no Pressure recognition on Photoshop, Painter and the wizard.
Hello. I'm not quite sure if this will be useful for you, but i'll tell you what happened to me. I bought the very same model but without the mouse, the G-pen450. When I just bought it, I just intalled the driver from the CD, and both the painter X and photoshop cs1 trials included. I had no problem when I was drawing in photosho cs1, but when I uninstalled it and and installed photoshop cs2, I was still able to draw with the pen, but it had no pressure sensibility, no matter how hard did I press the pen against the table or how many times i enabled or disabled the pressure settings in both photoshop and the tablet driver.
what i did was downloading the new driver (the 2.0 version) for the g-pen450 from the genius page, and simply installed it ... and it didn't work, worse; now even the pen suite didn't recongize the pressure control, so, what I did was to uninstall the WHOLE software included with the table along with the driver, and then I reinstalled the new version (2.0). After I installed it, the instaling program asked me to restart the computer, so I did it. Then, after the computer was done restarting, I connected the tablet to a USB port, and then the computer recognized it, actually it told me that it recognized the tablet, two HID compatible dispossitives, and a HID compatible mouse pen. It opened that window that appears everytime you connect new hardware to the computer, and it proceeded to "install" all the drivers needed for the dispossitives.
After the computer finished installing, it asked again to restart the PC, soooo I restarted it again, when it was done, I connected the tablet once again, and this time it displayed that "your new hardware is installed and ready to use" balloon on the bottom right corner of the screen. So I tried opening photoshop CS2 again and drawing with the tablet, and this time it did work perfectly.
I think it's matter of uninstalling the old driver, and the bundle software (annotate all, pen commander, pen mail, pen signer, etc. ) and then instaling the 2.0 version of the driver.
I just got my tablet today. I installed the driver and the software...
The wireless mouse works..but the pen doesnt ....Any help would ever be appreciated.
Bought my Genius tablet last year. Been thrilled with it. Finally needed to change the battery in the pen. Instead of pulling open easily, the pen stuck together and the wrong side opened up with no possibility of putting it back together. I see other tablet makers offer pens separately, why not Genius? Oh, and good luck trying to contact them.
Genius G-Pen 4500 not working - installation tel me that its not pass windows logo test , and asking to check if it compatable with windows XP

I have the same problem as Ahmed_yousry . The driver installation Wizard warms me that the installation will not pass the Windows logo test, and that if I proceed my computer may suffer problems or erros. I didn't proceed, obviously. HELP!, what should I do?
