If you mean you cant hear anything while using it, maybe the volume is down.
If the ringer is silent you might be set to 'silent', 'airplane' mode, or 'vibrate'.
Turn volume up.
Go to your menu.
Disable airplane mode if its on.
Disable vibrate mode.
If these don't work then maybe the mini-speaker connector is loose.
If not that then earphone plug may be oxidized.
Squirt it with a bit of Servisol or other oil-free contact cleaner.
If you can hear the sound from the headphone(earphone jack), the fault is between the headphone itself or the speakers. Check the continuity of the speakers(voice coil) using the multimeter to determine if it is faulty or not.
If you've confirmed that the speakers are not the issue here, you may spray an electrical contact cleaner to the earphone jack of your unit while pulling and inserting the headset plug to clean the contact from dirt build-up inside. You may also replace the earphone jack with new one to back the unit in normal operation.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Every one enjoys listening to music . When CD player stops doing its job we take it to a repair shop. But before doing that we can try out few simple ways to troubleshooting CD player which may save us from paying huge amount for repair.
Troubleshooting involving diagnosis and then fixing it by finding the cause for the problem. First step involves focusing on a specific problematic area . Next step would be to check if the connections are proper and the last step is to troubleshoot. Let us look at each step in detail..
You can start by checking the earphone port,By using an earphone jack, inserting into the earphone port...If no sound comes out from it, that means it's not from the speaker, but from the board of the radio. The sound IC has is damaged and will need to be replaced..
To fix these, you might need to contact a repair man.
But, if sound comes out from the earphone jack, That means it's a minor case,it will be a problem from the speaker of the Mini Disc Player.
Checking the speaker connection..You might need to open up the speaker
Test the speaker by using a AA battery with small wires on the positive and negative side of the speaker. If sound comes out, that means i wire has cut or remove from somewhere inside the speaker, But if still no sound coming out,That means will go back to IC on the bard of the radio..
when everyone can hear your voice while you can hear their voice during making a call, it seems the problem is in your microphone, it means you have to oven the phone cover at all, find the microphone that use to located in thr bottom of the motherboard, try to clean the circuit of the microphone, or replace with a new microphone..for a while you can use a headset or nokia earphone that similar with your model.
You have 2 problems there. First, the error from the camera states that there is a problem with the camera's physical connection. It is telling you that the cable/wire that activates the camera is either loose or damaged.
With the loud speaker working and the earphone not means that the speaker is also either loose or damaged. Both the speaker and camera are on the same area in the phone and thus have a connection problem.
You have to have it checked with Samsung's Service Center.
