I have a minka aire fan and my remote doesn't seem to work. (UC7084T)

How do I reset the receiver?

    The fan guy said maybe reset the reciever

I have a newer Minka w/ wall controller. The books says to make sure both the wall control and the receiver(up in the fan) are both programmed the same. My receiver has no little switches but has a sticker stating that you need to hold the 'fan off' button down for 3 seconds after turning on the power so the receiver can memorize the program in the wall switch. You have 60 sec to do this after power is turned on. Good luck !

I can not remove the glass dome to change to bulb on my Minka Aire 3 blade ceiling fan. I believe the model number is UC7084T
Push up on the glass all around to loosen it (be careful not to break). You could also spray a little WD-40 around the top of the glass. If these don't work, you might have to break the glass. Call Minka Aire @ 1-800-307-3267 and let them know the problem and they might send a replacement at no-cost.

Hardwired ceiling fan turned off by itself and stopped responding to remote control, but the light turns on/off.
I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.

Probably need to reset the remote. I hope you kept the instructions. Also, you might need a new receiver.

How to change the direction on the Napoli fan ? Right now it is turning clockwise
Some Minka fans have a reverse button (REV) on the remote control. If yours doesn't, there is a slide switch on the exterior of the fan's motor.

Minka has a website with downloadable user manuals at minka.com. Enter your model number in minka.com's search box and you may read the manual there.
