When i power on tally 6100 printer it displays a fault "blk 0 chksum error" and my printer keys are hanging up. when i press press "Mode key" it displays "boot 1.9", "Control 9.2C" etc., and if i choose above them any it displays another fault "flash bnld ready". i ask too many tally engineers but their suggestions did not work. Please give me a good suggestion.
Fault "blk 0 chksum error" is attributable to a corrupt firmware. Fortunately the firmware can be reloaded and restore the printer in operating condition. You can download a firmware from the tallygenicom.com site under support and drivers then download it in your PC. Normally you need to put the printer is flash download mode also instruction can be seen from the site. If you cannot do this I can assist you with this.

Press and hold view linfeed down arrow and mode while powering up the printer. This will put the printer into flash mode. send the firmware via the paralell port.
