Can't connect to internet

Start-NETWORK CONNECTIONS-right click wifi icon-click properties-click ENABLE. If DISABLE showing, click REPAIR. Hope this helps. The other possibility is no wifi service is in range. Are you able to "see" any AP's in range? Right click the wifi icon, Then click VIEW AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS. When popup is displayed, do the displayed networks have the lock symbol indicated? These are encrypted networks, and you either need the encryption key, or find an open AP. Hope this helps.

Can't connect to internet

The issue could be with the wifi connection that your wifi adapter is connected to. If your running a windows based system, go to the system tray and right click on your wifi connection symbol (SSID) and see which network your connected to. Every LAN has its own unique name of their Local area network (LAN), if its not displaying your LAN SSID name but a different SSID name then thats the problem. If thats the case, then once again right click on the wifi connection symbol in the system tray and change the wifi connection to your SSID for "view available connection". Your wifi adapter could be picking up a wifi connection in your area and you do not have access to their LAN.

IPAQ wireless connectivity

always start with the simplest answer first so make sure you have WiFi turned on. Think back, have you changed the wireless security on your router? If so you may need to re-enter the network details or add your iPAQ's MAC address to the access control list on the router. In the bottom right-hand corner of the home screen you should have a small HP Wireless symbol, if you tap it you should get your HP Wireless control panel on screen and can 1: turn WiFi on and off, 2: manually enter the WiFi network details and 3: search for WiFi networks in range.
