Question about Cyberhome CH-DVR1500 DVD Recorder
Hi my name is Patricia i have a blank dvd stuck in my recorder i will like to know how to get it out. thank you for your help
Sometimes the mechanism that spins the disk does not go up or down all the way. When it tries to eject the disk its not completely idle or sitting in the tray. Some drives us a magnetic mechanism to hold it in place. I'll give you 2 methods in order of preference. First, with the player unplugged try and tip the whole thing upside down and give it a little jiggle. That may be enough to break the disk loose. If you hear it moving around then you've made progress. The second option you have is to actually remove the metal casing on the player. On some players it is easier than others. Usually you would find a few screws on the backside. If you remove those screws you should be able to slide the metal cover off and give you a clear shot at getting to the actual disk tray. That would be if you are comfortable getting your "hands dirty". It's a risk vs. rewards trade off. Both of these solutions are low risk so give them a try if you feel like they've got potential and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks.
