Question about HP Photosmart 635 Digital Camera
My memory card still holds my pictures and I can view old pictures taken before the incident. My camera turns on and functions fine but all I can see if Blackness. The camera has hardly been used so I can't think it is an overuse issue. None of the pictures turn out at all. Let me know what you think...I have changed the batteries and done a few other things but nothing seems to work.
Does the screen deliver anything such as menu. Or can you see ghost images if looked at from the side? If you see nothing then this is a connector issue of a circuit board failure. If you see ghost images then it a back light failure. Either way this is a return to HP situation. If under warranty via the seller if not under warranty contact HP customer support. If they are quoting money- you may find it more economic to write it off and get a new camera.

Have you used the camera before ie:
have you used the four buttons (in a column to the right of the LCD screen)?
When the camera is first turned on this is what happens:
1. Hewlett Packard logo
2. screen that briefly display how many shots still to be taken and the camera settings e.g. flash.
3. Blank screen.
To turn on the screen: press the top button described above and marked with a camera icon.
Please forgive me if I have offended your intelligence by describing the basic operations of the camera.
