Unable to enter a privacy zone.exe!!!

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

    Hello,

As you think it might be corrupt could actually be the problem. A way to fix this is to drag and drop the files you need off the device then navigate to My Computer, Right click on the device, and choose format, Format it as NTFS file system as it allows it to copy faster.

If it is corrupt you may not be able to open it.

there are programs can help solve the problem of corruption, antivuris program, some old disc repair software, the vender may have tools to help you save the information but if all fells you may have delete all and start all over.

I am ignorant. Just bought a2gb data travelor that was completly

Hi lwebber,

The Data Traveler simply stores files. It has nothing to do with editing your Word document. Once you have saved your work on your computer (in the MyDocuments folder for instance) then you can copy the finished file to the Data Traveler. Right click on the file and click Copy then right click on the Data Traveler and click Paste. This process will copy a file to the Data Traveler.

8GB Kingston Data Traveller only has 101mb available!

Hi Cristina,
This is Azeem Inam. your data traveller does not accept data over 101MBs. There can be two reasons for this problem. 1. there may be a virus that has provided a limitation on the copying facility. 2. This can be a partition problem. All you need to do is to use the software called DM (Disk manager). This is a DOS versioned software. Go into its advance installation option and then accept the hard disk kingston data traveller. It will take you to another menu showing the partition styles you may choose. you'll have to choose FAT32 type. then in the next menu you'll have to choose partition size by pressing enter button. and then accepting format you are done. it will start working as new again. Thanks for consulting your problem.

The privacy zone.

There are several USB recovery programs available. While I don'tendorse any one in particular, I tend to stay away from "free" ones, since I believe in the axiom "there's no such thing as a free lunch"since you don't know what's in it for them.

You could try this company, which advertises a free download (but Isuspect they are really a shareware company so it's possible that theywill want money for a more expansive version) which may make itpossible to fix your drive in one instance at least.

If this data is important to you, it's probably worth spending 30 or 40dollars to avoid a repeat.in the future, because USB drives getcorrupted from time to time.

Anyway, here is the link:

Flash disk data traveller kingston

18 MB from 2 GB...

i would recommend using a utility that performs a low level format of the flash drive... note that all data is lost on it. You may just have hidden files on it and your windows settings dont allow you to view hidden and system files...

let me know if you want to check for hidden files first or want a link to download a low level flash drive formatter....
