Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

How I can repair cooler fan...There is a noice when it work/ Fujitsu Siemens /Amilo Notebook SA 3650 model MS 2243

you need to take the fan out and clean any dust on its leaves. Also clean the heatsink vent. If that not solve the problem, you can get a new one in ebay or similar shops.

Overheating problem with FujitsuSimens Amilo Pro V3505.

A good cleaning of the fan/heat exchanger is in order. You can use a vacuum cleaner or draw the lint from the cooling openings or you may have to tare down the laptop to clean it. laptopwill_0.jpgThis is what some I've worked on look like.

Some keys of keyboard of my laptop fujitsu siemens amilo pro v 1000 is not working. Please help me what should I do now.

You can blow compressed air into the cooling vents of the fan. If you notice clouds of dust coming out, then it might be a good idea to disassemble the laptop, clean the fan & air ways, & reassemble it back. If the fan has failed & is no longer running, it might need to be replaced.

Amilo pro laptop powers down after about an hour - plugged in that is working. about 24 months old.

Ok, right or left, its where the gpu is located, on some laptops its to the left on some to the right.

Anyway, thats what cause the shoutdown on your laptop. You need to open it and clean it from dust. Your laptop gets overheated and therfore shuts down.
I sugest you take it to a pc repaire shop and get it cleaned, ask the to test it after the cleaning to, it might be so that a fan or two dosent work properly.

Good luck Chloe

AMILO pro v2055 Restarts randomly when in use

this sound very much to me like overheating check all the vents on the laptop make sure they are free and clear. If you have used the laptop on a bed or sofa for a period of time the vents can become clogged with a buildup of dust, if this is the case then you will need to open up the laptop and clean the fan and heatsink. you could also try vacuming the vents.
