This morning i wanted to listen to my mp3 player again and this time it will not play. The screen says file system error and will not let me access the menu so I can reset the mp3 player.
You may need to format the player using a computer. format in FAT of FAT32. if it still doesn't work, you may need to download and reinstall the firmware onto it

Hi mike davi936...
Try deleting your songs that you do not want this way.
****************************************************************************************************************
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps, etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER. Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER. Please take time to rate me thumbs up
Not sure what you are saying. You were able to listen to it, but you are not able to listen to it anymore? If this is the case, double check that the license (see site where you downloaded it from) allows more than one "presentation". A lot of free media has limits on how you can use it / number of times you can use it.
Of course, I may have misunderstood completely what you were asking. Please clarify if this was the case.
Hi
My Archos 1 Vision. Wont play a particular music file. It has played it amazingly fine since i bought it 3 months ago.
It was connected to my computer charging for a while, then i turned my system off so it was off for a while.
Wanted to listen to a few songs before bed, turned it on,selected Music,Scrolled down to the file i wanted,Went to select a song.........FROZEN!
I can turn it off but the same thing happens everytime i go to select something from this file
Please help i need music on my travels ;-)
try using windows media player to navigate thru the file on you mp3 player and delete the ones you dont like on it then use the media player again to sync the new ones onto it
Yes. You have to have an active account to keep listening to those songs. On another note (no pun intended) anything that you OWN in your music files will play for you.
I quit the subscription from Best Buy, deleted the songs I didn't own and now I am satisfied.
or formatting it and starting over, see if that helps
easy way to format
1.Shutdown player 2.Hold Rec button 3.Turn player on 4.Plug your player into the PC 5.Go to My computer 6.Find a Icon named 16Mb Format 7.Open that and make a new text file 8.Name it sansa.fmt 9.unplug player and it will say Formatting..... 10.when its finished it will reset , or shut off, when its done turn it on and see if that helps
I looked inside, and to my surprise (having opened other MP3 Players)
there was a small watch battery that obviously powers the saving of
settings. So in the next day or two I will be changing this battery to see if it does indeed power those setting for changing thing like: MTP -> MSC (which on Auto goes straight to MTP) Finalizing Updates
mp3 screen lite is flashing
