I had a similar problem. Have two mates who install aicons. Both said. Mitsubishi electric or Daikin are best in the business. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries not so good.

I own a store where I trade both MHI and MElectric and most of my clients prefer and buy Heavy Industries although it might be 5%-7% more expensive.

No Mitsubishi Air Con Manual

ok heres the problem. The a/c filter is clogged or the evaporator coil is clogged. These systems have a metering device that measures the amount of air flow over the coil. If this air flow is obstructed the filter light will flash. If the filter in the unit is clean then the coil has some type of obstruction. This will mean having to clean the coil before the light will go off. An a/c tech should be able to clean this for you and it not be a huge cost. They have the chemicals to get the job done fast and clean.

Change your filter first.

Good Luck hope this helped you some

Fan roller and grey fins clogged with dust and mould

You can clean Blower wheel one of two ways. !st would be to remove the wheel and clean with the garden hose or if that is not a option for you then you can buy a can of compressed air and clean it that way but you will get a blast of dust and dirt when unit turns on. Make sure unit and/or power is of when doing this. Keeping your filter mainteneced more often will reduce the build up more.
