One for all remote code did not work; I would like to control a sansui vrdvd4001 ; I struck out on the one4all website. genwoo

    No Auto Find option on remote; OFA sent email saying the code is the same for a DVD player which is 0695. But my remote will not take this number. Thanks everyone! Gene

    I don't know how to programme a sansui dvd player code/serial number:1A20-820N-0132-2540-5706-0121 with a "one for all URC-7740" remote control.When I press any button on the remote it doesn't display anything on TV or DVD screen.

Did you try the "Auto find" option?? I'm not sure this remote has one but if you look in the manual...or if you can't find it look it up on the web. or call them...I hope this helps!!!

How do I set the recording speeds on the vcr without a remote control?
Unfortunately, you need the remote control to do this. You can get a replacement remote with all of the features here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&uuid=12937528570080&smodel=VRDVD4001&brand_pn=SANSUI_VRDVD4001 . There are a couple of other versions of the Sansui VRDVD4001 and their remotes are also available from remotes.com. Search on the model but not the brand name.

Even the timed recording menu which doesn't need the speed button doesn't have a button on the front panel of the unit.

I wish that I had better news.

Try 1990, 8910, and 0171. If those don't work, try the "search method" on your remote to try to find the code. If not, the TV doesn't have any codes available. People are having the same problem for ilo and Olevia. If you are really desperate for a universal remote, the only thing that will work at this time is a universal learning remote.
