Java isn't working

You must be logged in as an administrator. If prompted for your administrator password after a command, enter it and then press the Return or Enter key.

1. Open Terminal, located in the Utilities folder.
2. Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
   sudo mkdir -p /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled
3. Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
   sudo mv /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled
4. Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
   sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle/Contents/Resources/JavaPlugin2_NPAPI.plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
5. To re-enable Java SE 6 Web Start, enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
   sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Commands/javaws /usr/bin/javaws

Additional Information The following steps will undo the above commands and restore Java 7.

1. Disable Java SE 6 Web Start opening:
   • Enter this command, then press the Return or Enter key:
   sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/Current/Commands/javaws /usr/bin/javaws
   • When prompted, enter your administrator password, then press the Return or Enter key.
2. Re-enable the Java 7 applet plug-in bydownloading and reinstalling the latest version of Oracle Java 7 JRE.

jar games extension ..you can open or install it on your phones .and you need JRE (java runtime environment)

Please try Re-installing Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in your system. Please Uninstall you JRE if it is installed already and reinstall. Also Unblock Frostwire from Windows Firewall. Please find below the steps to unblock frostwire:

1. Click "Start."
   
2. Type Windows Firewall and click on the "Windows Firewall" in the search result.
   
3. Click on the "Allow a program" option on the left-side of the Windows Firewall window.
   
4. Click the "Change Settings" button.
   
5. Click the "Allow another program" button.
   
6. Select "FrostWire" from the list of programs.
7. Click "Add" to unblock FrostWire from the Windows Firewall.

If these two steps does not work, uninstall and re-install frostwire!

You can install online or download the JRE @ http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp depending on what Operating System you are using.

2. On choose the programs that windows uses by default, Select “Associate a file type or protocol with a program > Click on the extension (.jar) to view the program that opens it by default.
3. Click change the program and select the default program JAVA virtual machine launcher

Now check if the issue is resolved
If the issue persists, you may want to uninstall and reinstall JAVA.

install JDK as well as JRE on the system .
copy the project and paste in the BIN of jdk.
you can install any update of JDK as well as JRE.

1. open command prompt
2. specify path of file in jdk in command prompt.
3. type javac <file name>
   
4. hit enter.
5. type java <file name>

this will run your project on any system on which you want to run your project by performing above steps.

Choose the Advanced tab from the menu.
Click on the [Reset] button below the Reset Internet Explorer Settings b section.
Close Internet Explorer.
Remove all versions of JRE (Java Runtime Environment).
Install JRE 1.4.2_08
Open Internet Explorer and open the Yahoo mail page.
Hopefully you should now be able to compose new mails and view the existing emails.

Hi There,

As i understand you receive an error when you run the installed program.

Please uninstall the complete downloaded software and reboot the PC. Then download the latest Java JRE (Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7) to run all Java programs from the link given below,
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Once you have installed the Java JRE, again install the program and test if it works.

It will work!!
