Load rom errorcode=-7

Everytime i start a game an error message appears.... "load rom errorcode=-7 please reset sytem... how can i fixed this one???

    I instaled Sokoban but, this is the problem.

    (Rom loading failed)

    it dusnt work ive been looking for a skate-it ds rom for ages and all of em are .rar so i use winrar iextractg them and put them onto my dstt and they still dont work :@

    I have the same problem on one disk but not the other.



    I have 2 cards and one has the error with certain games but then if you put the same games on the other card from the same source they work!!



    I've tried copying the TT Menu from the good card to the bad card but it doesn't help.



    HELP!!!!

If you downloaded the game then the download is corrupted,because i downloaded a game that said the same thing so i took it off and downloaded the same game from a different site and it worked.

Make a copy of the game ROM file in your R4 SD Card, then if you have the ROM file in your computer make a copy of that and replace the file in the R4, try to load again the game with the new one. BE CAREFUL make sure to not delete the .sav file of the Game.

Hi Hami,

You may well be using a fake R4i card, and you probably updated the software on your Nintendo DS and now it won't read it. This is normal for most clone cards since they can't actually be updated to use Nintendo's latest firmware.

The real R4i card has manufacturers website www.r4i-sdhc.com, NOWHERE ELSE. Check yours to see if it is this website. If it isn't, and you need a genuine one in the US/Canada, use DSCardWorld.com who are a preferred seller of the authentic ones. They also list NDS-Gear.com but I think they mainly do UK/European orders.

I downloaded fifa 2011 and i launched the game and then it stopped loading and sayd rom loading failed load rom error=-4 please reset system, how shuold i fix it
This is a non patched version. It has something to do with Antipiracy..

Solution 1: Update your r4 or card to the latest firmware

Solution 2: You will need a patched version of FIFA 2011 (not available yet)

Please give some more info about your card.

To resolve this issue, start the computer from the Windows XP CD, start the Recovery Console, and then use the Bootcfg.exe tool to rebuild the Boot.ini file. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Configure the computer to start from the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. For information about how to do this, see your computer documentation, or contact your computer manufacturer.
  2. Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, and then restart your computer.
  3. When you receive the "Press any key to boot from CD" message, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD-ROM.
  4. When you receive the "Welcome to Setup" message, press R to start the Recovery Console.
  5. If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation that you have to use from the Recovery Console.
  6. When you are prompted, type the administrator password, and then press ENTER.
  7. At the command prompt, type bootcfg /list, and then press ENTER. The entries in your current Boot.ini file appear on the screen.
  8. At the command prompt, type bootcfg /rebuild, and then press ENTER. This command scans the hard disks of the computer for Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows NT installations, and then displays the results. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to add the Windows installations to the Boot.ini file. For example, follow these steps to add a Windows XP installation to the Boot.ini file:
    1. When you receive a message that is similar to the following message, press Y: Total Identified Windows Installs: 1

      [1] C:\Windows
      Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All)
    2. You receive a message that is similar to the following message: Enter Load Identifier This is the name of the operating system. When you receive this message, type the name of your operating system, and then press ENTER. This is either Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.
    3. You receive a message that is similar to the following: Enter OS Load options When you receive this message, type /fastdetect, and then press ENTER.

      Note The instructions that appear on your screen may be different, depending on the configuration of your computer.
  9. Type exit, and then press ENTER to quit Recovery Console. Your computer restarts, and the updated boot list appears when you receive the "Please select the operating system to start" message.

DSTT Rom Loading Error
Make sure all of your firmware is updated. There should be a 1.17 firmware for it. I heard from a bunch of my friends who had firmware 1.16 or lower that they all got the new one and they all work perfectly fine. Try it. Here it here.
