On the 8200 Pure Living heater there is a small black object that was on the floor beside the heater and came apart. I need to replace this because the heater no longer will start

We WE NEED CLASS ACTION LAY SUIT AGAINST THIS LIVING PURE HEATER COMPANY!!!!!
Remove the filter in the back. Unplug the four wires that went to switch. (2 black and 2 white) Cut metal ends off. Strip ends with wire strippers. Connect the white to the white and black to the black with wire nuts. Wrap with electrical tape. You've just bypassed the power switch. Now have a cocktail! You're done.
Living Pure was taken over by a company called Seasonaire. They take care of the Living Pure units and will replace it. I had the same issue with mine. I am awaiting them to ship out a new unit. It is under warranty.
you can take out filter and inside unplug the 4 wires and directly connect black to black and white to white with electrical tape...make sure you tape it good-reassemble
