If the video out still works ? then your lcd cable has been nicked or worked loose - cost of repairs ( if a new part is needed ) makes sending the camera to a factory authorized service center your least expensive solution ; an external video monitor is one cheaper way out

Lcd screen is not showing any image. everything showing accpet the image

Was the camera dropped or hit hard? I had to replace the display screen on my Canon Power Shot A95 because I had dropped it. I purchased a new LCD screen from a company on eBay. It was relatively inexpensive but you do need some experience with small screws and connectors to do it your self. One last thought, try new batteries. I am sure you have but I forget the obvious sometimes.

Hope this helps!

No image on LCD while all else seems normal.

Unit does not display anything on screen but lights turn on when powered up

When you say lights, do you mean the lcd backlight? or the standard power lights.

If the lcd backlights come on with no image on the screen then you have either a bad connection from the lcd to your mobo, or just a bad lcd. not too hard to replace.

if the lcd backlights do not come on but the power lights do, and you can hear everything else clicking away. you have 2 things to check. First try booting up with a external monitor. and see if you get video. 2nd one you turn it on [without an external monitor] in a very bright room look at the screen very closely you may be able to see the image just very faintly. if that is the case then you have either a bad inverter or 1 - 4 bad light tubes depending on how maney are in there. but my bet would be on the inverter. again easy to replce and usually on 40 - 60$. Good luck

No preview image. Black screen LCD

The problem is not with the LCD or the camera - You have got it set to ecomony / power save mode. Fixable through camera settings.

No light from my replaced display

If you see a very dim image or black screen or flicking image on the LCD screen it means you have a backlight problem.

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.

Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

Dynex dx-lcd32-09 lcd screen broke

If the LCD screen is broken, you should consider selling your set for parts. The cost of a LCD replacement is not cost effective. Examine the screen to verify.
If the LCD screen is good you can check to see if the "image" is being "sent" to the screen.
1) Take a bright flashlight and place it against the screen with the set on.
2) If you see an image around the edge of the flashlight the problem is in the inverter/CCFT or the power to it.
3) If you do not see an image the problem is probably in the LCD Controller (TCON) or its connections.
