Go through the menu or program on the tv screen until you see where to turn off demo

How did you fix the "Checking for demo version.." screen sticking problem?

If speakers are not turned off in audio or main menu and not muted and not a box with the sound down---do you hear anything if put ear right to speaker?

this happens as the wrong code on the remote control is ther
cab you reset it and authomatically change it into another code
try other code Phylips may do as Itt also
try and buy another remote comtrol as sometimes other works better as it seems your is getting stuck

On any appliance that has demo mode the solution is usually to hold down the stop button for like 3 seconds.

to deactive demo mode press menu on the remote...then w/that screen up push the screen mode little gray button at the top of the remote...note that this will not change anything on the screen...i know weird huh...now type in the numbers 9012 you should now be at a new menu the top opption is demo mode...choose it and then choose on or off...good luck i see this i an old post but i hope it helps someone...

Most TVs have features that cannot be accessed w/out remote. Make sure you copy exact model number on TV then go online to seach replacement remotes

You try pressing the AV button on the side, sequentially until it changes back to a Channel Number. It should cycle through AV1, AV2, RGB, etc
