Just purchased Logitech Attack 3 and need driver or some other assistance.

Currently, there is no Logitech Gaming Software for the Macintosh platform, so there is no question of installation..its just plug n play. It should function on a Macintosh computer running Mac OS 9x with Input Sprockets 1.7 or higher and a functioning USB port. Make sure your computer matches these specs.

To see if the device is detected, do the following:
  1. Click the "Apple Menu".
  2. Click "System Profiler".
  3. Click the "Devices and volumes" tab.
  4. Look at the USB tree to confirm that the controller is listed.

According to the Logitech website,

"If the device is not listed in the tree, it is not being detected. If possible, try the controller on another system to confirm it is working. If the controller works on another system, you will need to contact Apple or the USB card manufacturer for assistance. If the joystick fails on the test system, it may be defective. Exchange the gaming device at the point of purchase if it is within 30 days of the purchase date. If it has been more than 30 days since you purchased your gaming device, please contact Logitech Customer Support to inquire about an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number."
