User manual I need a user manual to understand how to adjust my monitor. cannot find it on ACER webpage. Will pay costs.Thanks.

I have the audio cable running from the surface rt to the acer monitor and get no sound,what should i do
I would check the volume on your device to make sure it is at a medium level. Then adjust the volume on the monitor using the second and third buttons from the left on the front controls. If I remember right the monitor needs to be on for the speakers to have power.

Acer R7 User guide
Everything in a User Guide can be found in the user manual. Just calling out R7 does not define your machine well enough. I googled R7 and got the following webpage.

Color temperature
If the monitor was set correctly at the factory, the color temperature should be close to whatever temperature the calibration tool reads. Your assumptions are correct as to the usual settings. Sometimes warm is near 4000k.

I don't understand anything about changing the display settings on my Acer p215h monitor I push the buttons but can't figure out what to do
umm...usually if it is a desk top there will be buttons either on the side, front or back or even the top, one looks like a sun and another looks like a square thats normally half white and half black. they are your brightness and contrast...push either end of the buttons to adjust more bright or less bright, more contrast or less contrast.

I have an ACER X203H and cannot adjust the contrast or the brightness. I can bring up the MENU, however I cannot adjust because when I HIT ENTER the menu disappears.
Press the Menu key on the Monitor to bring up the dialog box press Menu again because it defaults to the Brightness Icon. You will see the lower half of the dialog box change color. Use the left or right arrow to move off of Acer eColor Management to the User setting. Then press Menu again to edit contrast or brightness. User the left and right arrows on the Monitor to move to the desired adjustment, press Menu to allow adjust then arrow left for less or arrow right for more.
You really just keep moving between the Menu and arrow til you get it right.. I definitely needed to turn down the brightness on my monitor.

P191W Screen brightness, how do I reset Factory Settings after playing Call Of Duty One and Call of Duty 2: UO, the monitor did not reset to the default factory settings. Now, it is really difficult to see the screen, ie; print, web, etc. Tried using the menu mode to reset factory settings but it didn't work. tried Contrast/Brightness adjustments and they didn't have any significant impact. anybody got the secret out there to reset this bad bear?

Dual monitor setup, Acer low performance. Hp laptop Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400 xp sp3 DirectX 9.0 or better Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 256 Mb Nvidia intergrated Acer p191w as secondary monitor flickers badly in grey areas especially gradients. Red channel is missing. Various colour profiles dont help. Driver install a mystery if indeed this is the problem. The monitor is not situated near any magnetic devices. Downloading the driver yeilds a rar file that when extracted gives a list, there seems to be no installer and definately no install instructions. The titled drivers seem to be for vista. google this problem yeilds no driver alternative downloads. Any help appreciated to save this monitor from the trash can as it is the worst model so far.
