I've got an HP Deskjet 1280 which is a shared printer, I have been trying to delete a document called OADP. This states that it has been sent to print by 'SYSTEM'(of which we do not have any Computers labelled as that).
Ususally when we have a problem with printing I delete the first document, after it will show 'Deleting-p' however this time it shows 'Deleting-s' which is spooling.
Usually I would shut down and reboot and this would clear, however in this instance it won't delete and I cannot print.
All error fixing is done on the set that is directly attached to the printer, as we do not know where the OADP document came from.

Re:
Try to stop and restart the print spooler (right click on My Computer and then select Manage. At the bottom of the Computer Management window, expand Services and Applications. Click on Services, and on the right side of the window look for Print Spooler. Right click on it and select restart).
Even if this procedure does not fix your OADP file problem, consider it in the future and avoid restarting the computer every time you want to get rid of spooling printing documents.

When I printed powerpoint documents on a hp deskjet 1280 it failed to print lines. I found that this problem could be solved by changing the transparency attribute of the line to 50%. The transparency attribute of a line or shape can be found by clicking on the sequence format/shape-outline/more-outline-colours/transparency at the top of the screen

Have you tried going to safe mode, turning off the printer and manually opening it at the control panel>printers... try and delete or cancel prinitng at these settings...
