SOUND CARD NOT INSTALLED IN MY SYSTEM AS I DONT HAVE RIGHT DRIVER FOR THE CHIP SET k8S MX ASUS MOTHER BOARD AS THE SOUND CARD IS ADI AD 1888 SOUND MAX. WHERE CAN I GET THE DRIVER FOR WINDOWS VISTA

If you are running Windows Vista,
and you have the soundmax AD1888 Chipset,
you have no sound in Vista . . . relax, this problem is common.

Try the following soundmax AD1888 Drivers in this torrent.

You will find 2 maps in the downloaded file.
1) Use the swsetup, there is a setup.exe in it, install, then reboot your pc. You should have sound now.

2) If this does not correct your problem,, update your driver using device manager,
with the other map (Vista-Driver-Vista)

This has worked in nearly every instance :-)
Follow this link below to the file. Please be sure to provide appropriate feedback for me if this helped!

download updated drivers from the Intel website, (choose the relevent chipset for the board, there should be vista compatible drivers available.)

Unable to load soundcard driver

After re-installing your OS, install ALL CHIPSET DRIVERS before you install the audio drivers. You need to have the chipset drivers loaded before the Audio driver if you are using onboard sound.

Fellows: I have a goal3+v:1.1c m/b with amd sempron. Does this combination have an audio device hardware and if so how is it installed. Experiencing promblem start to finish...what's going on with this?...

The Goal3+ v 1.1c has an onboard audio chipset: ADI AD1888 installed directly on it. The chips, and 3 small color coded jacks should already be installed on the leading edge of the board which will eventually poke thru the i/o plate when the board is in place. When you are finished with your build, simply plug some speakers into the appropriate jack in the back, and install the relevant motherboard drivers which are included on your software disk. If you have no disk, sound drivers can be downloaded from microsoft, or your board manufacturer support site.

Audio drivers for intel pentium11, awrdacpi

install everest free and click on motherboard and click on the motherboard subroot. then, see the motherboard name. then go to the cpu manufactors website which in this case is most likely an msi. find the product under chipset. then , when you've found it, click on driver. then download the sound driver, which is most likely the ADI SoundMAX (AD1888) Driver. it should work like a charm. this usually works only for intel awrdacpi.
