DOP770X5 fan element not turning off when temperature reached
Anyway, we had a problem like that recently - the programmable thermostat kept setting itself to 70. We'd put it up to 74 or so, it would reset to 70 and blow and blow and blow until the house was freezing. Turned out that the batteries in the thermostat were dead. (When there is a hurricane and you have no power, it uses some of the battery, which for some reason, waited a few months to completely die and freak out.)
Same exact problem. Happened on12/01. Screen went black during a call, but the keypad is slightly illuminated. (not evenly illuminated.) Pulled Battery for extended period of time, but did not help (obviously :-) ). If I wait for a period of time with the phone closed, and open the phone slowly I can see the a picture on the screen or light coming from the screen. When the phone is opened quickly the screen dies. If I open it s-l-o-w-l-y, the phone works, then died as I was typing this. If I then recycle the on/off button keeping phone nearly closed, I can then reopen the phone to a 90 deg angle and use the phone normally. This phone obviously has a contact/switch issue of some sort near the hinge.
Same with me.......buttons are backlit......but both screens are blank. Phone works fine however.
