Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
You should first check the voltage in the outlet itself. make sure you have 240 volts across the 2 terminals on the sides. you should also get 120 volts between the middle terminal to each of the end terminals. yo can also check this from the back of the dryer. 240 volts between the black and red wires. 120 from the black to white and red to white. if you find that is not the case you need to call a electrician to check the wiring fron the fuse box to the outlet. if it checks out good something happened to the control and you willneed to replace that.
