SOURCE: What are the different settings on coffee machine power knob for?

On other machines with the position switches, 2 turns on the whole machine (elements heatup and groups work). Position 1 turns on only the groups but the machine never heats up. I have never worked on an azkoyen, but the test switch could be for the the board and the autofill circuits, instead of the technician turning the machine to 1 to test those functions, they provided a test position on the switch.
