When there is a light background you can see two vertical lines about 6 inches from either side going from the top to the bottom.
It sounds like you have Image burn in on your crt's. This happens when you watch programs in 4X3 mode. (The sides are blacked or grayed out and the picture is centered in the screen). The only way to fix this is to replace the crt's. I wish I had better news. Let me know if I can be of further assistance
You have a full picture, I know that. The point I was trying to make is that maybe at some point in time, a program that you were watching was in the 4X3 mode. HD stations transmit commercials in the 4x3 mode a lot of times. In the 4x3 mode, you will have a fulle picture from top to bottom but it will not completely fill the screen from left to right. The video usually stops about 6 inches from either side. If you watch a program in this mode for tooo long, that edge will be burned into the phosphorous of the crts and will be seen on light background scenes. That is what I think has happened. I carry a video generator with me which gives me th ability to light each individual crt. When I do this it becomes readily apparent what the problem is.

The picture is not grayed or blacked out on the outside of these lines. The lines are only about 1/2" wide and the picture is fully displayed past the lines.
